Configure MarkPen to paste screenshots and inline images smoothly.

Paste images directly

MarkPen supports pasting images into your markdown document and converts them into markdown image syntax.

Recommended workflow

1. Copy an image or screenshot.
2. Place the cursor where you want the image.
3. Paste using Ctrl/Cmd + V.

Notes

• The extension can be configured to save assets to a local assets folder.
• If your workspace has strict security settings, grant VS Code permission to access the clipboard.
